Every spring a fishing derby is held for kids ages 2-12 at the public fishing area at the end of Main St. It is a catch and release competition with prizes awarded for first fish caught, largest fish caught, and most fish caught. A casting contest is also held. A fishing rod and tackle are required but bait is provided. There is no cost to enter. Check the event calendar for any schedule changes.
